I don’t know about you, but I get overwhelmed when I listen to the news these days. It make me feel like 4 horsemen are about to show up ... and they’re bringing Godzilla with them.
I need to take a few minutes to remember that the bad news gets most of the attention. It gets people talking. And arguing. People sitting down and talking through their disagreements is not exciting video for a newscast, so it gets ignored.
That’s why I love sites like the Good News Network. They remind me of the good that still exists in the world. Smart people. Nice people. Regular folks. Doing things that make their corner of the world kinder, better, more colorful. Those are the stories I need to give me ideas.
